What do I need to do in order to
book an event?
All S&M needs is the date, serving time, location , which package
and
an estimated number of people. We can then send out a contract
detailing your event.
You then sign the contract and send
it back with
a 50% deposit and your event is now booked. One week before the event
you can call us with your final count and we
adjust your final balance,
which is due at the event.
(THIS IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE)
What if it rains?
In the event of heavy rain, S&M gives the client the option
to reschedule an event. S&M does
request that you make your decision
on rescheduling 48 hours before the
event. (Rain Date MUST be Noted on Contract in Advance)
When does S&M need a final
count?
In order to book the event, S&M just needs an estimated amount of
guests to be served. The final head count can be given by telephone one
week prior to the event.
The Count can always increase however once we place an order for food
we can Not decrease the Guest Count.
When does S&M staff / crew
arrive, at my event?
The time stated on our contract is the serving time. We will arrive
approximately 1 hour before serving Events serving, over 5OO
guests, S&M will arrive 2 hours
before the serving time. (This is Determined by S & M Crew)
How long are the S&M
staff at the event?
For an average size event (30-100 people) S&M arrives 1 hour
before serving, Serve for one hour and clean, up for one hour.
We are
on site at the event for approximately 2 - 3 hours. Times May
Vary.
What does S&M bring, to the
event?
On MOST cooked on site
events, S&M provides all paper products (plates,
napkins, knives & forks),
Basic condiments (ketchup,
mustard, relish, salt/pepper), serving tables with table cloths, tents
for over the serving tables only, all serving utensils and grill.
TENT IS AN OPTION Determined by S & M Staff
As the host. what do I have to
provide?
The host should prepare to provide tables (with table cloths) and
chairs for your guests to eat on.
Does the S&M staff need access
to electricity/power or
water?
Yes S&M does need use of 1 electric power source to cook however we
bring our own grill. We would prefer to have
access to water, but it is not a necessity for the event
What does S&M do with any left
over food at the end of the
event!
All cooked and prepared food will be left with the host of the event.
S&M can simply transfer the food over to one of your serving tables.
How much space does the S&M
staff need for the event?
For an average event up to 100 guests, S&M staff only need about,
as
much space as 2 car parking spaces (app. 10 ft by 20 ft.).
Does S&M allow for any menu
substitutions?
Yes, S&M is very flexible and willing to customize your event menu.
Just let us know and we can work with you to create a unique menu for
your event.
